Summer is almost here and the California weather is already heating up! Here are some tips on ways to make sure your Kia is running its best for upcoming summer adventures:

• Check tires and tire pressure – be sure your tires are at their optimal pressure, especially as the weather heats up
• Listen and feel the brakes – if you hear squealing when applying pressure to your brakes, be sure to get your brake pads checked/replaced before taking any trips this summer
• Check your battery – make sure your battery is not aging faster than you think and can last on road trips
• Top off all vehicle fluids – check your engine oil, wiper fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid levels and top off if needed
• Replace wiper blades – wiper blades naturally deteriorate over time, especially if left out in the weather (not parked in covered parking).
